BTW, on Friday 31st May we are playing records at a new PARTY called ‘Our Place’ at The Hive Project, a really intimate and really amazing space in Hackney Wick. We’ll probably play this, along with lots of other lovely music like it, we hope you can come down.

Despite being involved in musical creation and performance for longer than some of his fans have been walking this good earth, Cottam’s first house music productions didn’t see the light of day until as recently as 2009. Working soul, disco and funk into… his at times epic arrangements, Cottam has rapidly collected a knowledgeable crowd of admirers, drawn to his organic productions and modestly inspired DJ sets.
Cottam will be supported on the night by GetDownGood residents Greg Sawyer, Tom Bulwer and Jo Sayers, spinning deep house and disco delights to keep you warm and groovin’ all night long plus Toby Williams and Jimmy Nelson in the bar keeping things slow.
